Alan Stanley

Alan came to the law later in life after a successful business career. Alan set about retraining himself and obtained a First Class Law degree from the Open University in 2019 and then a post graduate diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Law in 2020. Alan focuses on Family Law, Dispute Resolution and Civil Litigation.

Aiming to provide assistance to people, businesses and property owners in times of stress, Alan offers clear, pragmatic, compassionate advice. Alan will seek to resolve issues in the least distressing and most cost effective manner available, whether by negotiation, referral to mediation, or by robustly progressing matters through the Court.

Alan offers a range of family law services including: divorce and separation; financial remedy proceedings (by consent or contested); private law children disputes; cohabitation agreements and disputes; separation agreements; pre-nuptial agreements; post nuptial agreements; and civil partnerships.

Alongside this, Alan provides dispute resolution and litigation services to individuals and organisations covering: landlord and tenant issues; debt and money claims; contract; contentious probate; neighbour and boundary disputes; company and partnership issues; and residential tenancies.
